I was in the 2ND grade, in Mrs. Matteson's class. Its all everyone talked about for the next couple a weeks. I remember seeing families on television crushed because of their loss. It was one of the most devastating things in U.S. History. Twenty years from now i do think we will still remember 9/11, because it was historic. It wasn't as big as World War 1 or World War 2, but it was a big deal. I just think it won't be as big of deal as it is now, but it will always be remembered. The terrorists attacked the America because they know that we are one of the, if not the strongest country in the world, and they feel threatened by that kind of power. They wouldn't attack any other countries because they don't feel that threat that one day if we screw up than they might come over here and take over our country, and it's like that in everything, someone always wants to knock of the top dogs, and that's what America is, we are the top dogs. I don't know of anyone that was directly affected, but i do know it was sad for all the families who had losses from 9/11. If i were to write a story about 9/11 it would be from my point of view, and i would tell what it was like to be 7 year old boy in the United States when that happened.
